Balboa Tennis Club

Balboa Tennis Club is a public tennis facility with 25 tennis courts located in Balboa Park. The Balboa Tennis Club bosts over 1,400 members and over 6,000 day pass visitors each year. Day passes are only $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for juniors.

The non-profit Balboa Tennis Club is possibly America's top public tennis facility and is popular for both locals and visitors. There are 19 courts which have lights for playing in the evening and 1 court reserved for challenges so you can always find a partner to play against. The historic Balboa Tennis Club aims to promote tennis here in San Diego, and with their inexpensive fees and friendly staff they do a great job making everyone enjoy their recreational experience.

From I-5 take the Pershing Drive Exit near downtown. Follow Pershing Drive to the traffic signal at the intersection of Pershing Drive and 26th Street/Florida Drive. Turn left onto Florida Drive and go 1.2 miles to Morley Field Drive. Turn right onto Morley Field Drive. Drive to the top of the hill and you will see the Balboa Park tennis Club and tennis courts on your right.
