The Point Loma Sportfishing company takes its customers on a terrific trip out to the sea where they get a chance to catch huge fish. You can experience an exciting day sportfishing for about $50 per person and bring back pictures and memories that you treasure for a long time. The captain of the boat and the crew are very helpful as they offer plenty of tips and advice and fix any issues you have with the fishing gear like untangling knots. The Point Loma Sportfishing fleet of boats is impressive, though the most common one used is for the daily double that takes off for a 5-6 hour trip twice per day. Captain Fred Huber is a friendly guy especially towards children and he always focuses his efforts at steering the ship to the best spots for catching fish. Besides the 1/2 day outing, there are 3/4 day, full day, charter boats and night time shark fishing trips.
If you don't bring your own snacks, then make sure you bring some extra money for made for order burgers or corn dogs on the boat.
