San Diego State University

San Diego State University is one of the top party schools in the country. Very heavy in fraternity and sororiety life, the SDSU students know how to have a good time in the Greek life or at a house party. However, SDSU is not all about partying because the academic program for undergraduates is relatively strong. Graduate school at SDSU is not nearly as strong as the undergraduate academic programs but the business school ranks pretty well nationally.

San Diego State University reputation as a party school does not come without merit. Walking around campus for a few minutes will make you realize that this school has to have one of the highest percentage of beautiful college women in the country. A dream come true for many of the male students who attend the school. Though Greek fraternity parties make up a great deal of the partying going on here, many house parties are also thrown on a near nightly basis around campus. Recent successful crackdowns on drugs at the school has had a positive effect at cleaning up the campus. Division I sports teams are nationally recognized especially in basketball and football. The football team has both been pretty weak for quite some time and the basketball program has been up and down.

Educationally SDSU is an inexpensive option for in state California students. In general most students do concentrate on their studies here and the academic programs are for the most part pretty good. With beautiful San Diego weather and an appealing campus, SDSU becomes an enjoyable place to get a higher education.

San Diego State University is one of the four major colleges in San Diego that also includes the University of California, University of San Diego and Point Loma Nazarene.
