Seaport Village

Seaport Village Fountain and Coronado BridgeSeaport Village in Downtown San Diego on the San Diego Bay blends an outdoor shopping experience, water side dining, an outdoor park, an along the water walkway, and incredible views of sail boats and other vessels. Seaport Village's brick paved walkways and scenic views compliment the excellent shopping experience. You can actually walk along the water from Seaport Village all the way to the Maritime Museum in about 20 minutes. Along the San Diego Bay boardwalk their is a nice pier which stretches into the San Diego Bay. The pier is a great place to go for a walk and feed the birds while getting a picturesque view of the sailboats.

Seaport Village Directions

Getting to Seaport Village is very easy. The directions to Seaport Village begin by entering downtown San Diego most likely off of the Interstate 5. Seaport Village is located off of Pacific Highway just a mile north of the San Diego Convention Center. When you are in Downtown San Diego, head west towards the San Diego Bay on any street until you get to Pacific Highway and you will find signs for Seaport Village.

Parking is free if you get your parking stub validated. To get it validated you need to purchase anything at any store in seaport village, even a postcard will do. The resteraunts along the water are rather inexpensive and offer outdoor food court style as well as fine dining experiences. The shopping offers a variety of options from beach clothing, to souveniers, a toy shop, a cigar shop, a custom coffe mug shop, a kite shop and many other choices. Several portrait artists are available by the water to draw your picture for about $20-$25.
