University of San Diego
University of San Diego is one of the most beautiful schools in the entire United States. Being situated on top of a hill USD has some amazing views of San Diego and the Pacific Ocean. The campus architecture, layout and ammenities add to the overall value of the school. Social life and academic programs are rated near the top compared to the other San Diego colleges. USD also has a pretty strong Law School program. Students often complain that when they say they go to USD people get confused thinking they actually go to UCSD or SDSU. The school is affiliated with the Catholic Church.
However, not everything is great at the University of San Diego. One of the knocks on the school known as "The Country Club on the Hill" campus is not in walking distance to anything and the school lacks diversity. The price of the school is outrageously expensive. The school's does not offer a huge selection of majors to choose from especially if you are interested in something other then business or communications. Parking is difficult and the campus security is extremely strict, quickly calling the San Diego Police Department if you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. But in general the social scene at off campus parties is quite good, especially considering the fact that the general concensus amongst students is that the female students are very good looking.
The University of San Diego is one of the four major colleges in San Diego that also includes San Diego State University, the University of California and Point Loma Nazarene.
